In this 6 week course, we will learn the basics of how to jam on the piano! Whether you are on your own following along to a Beatles tune or jamming in the garage to a song your friend just wrote - this is the course for you! We will go over the basics of how to build chords (Major and minor triads, 7th chords, 1-IV-V chord progressions, etc..) and learn how to understand lead sheets. We will also go over the chords and structure of some classic tunes and jam along together!

We like to tailor our courses based on who is enrolled and are happy to adapt to what students are most interested in learning! This could mean focusing more on rhythm, lead sheets, improvisation, specific chord progressions or even jamming along to that one song you’ve always wanted to play.
