Workshop: Beginning Music Theory: Music Reading (Pilot)
In this 3-part series you will crack the code of written music and be able to look at a staff and understand what notes are supposed to be played, how fast, how long, in what order and lots of other stuff. So if you end up on a desert island with a piano or guitar and a sheet of music, by the time they find you you'll be able to play it really well.
Part 1: Staves, lines, spaces, Triads (major and minor), sevenths, key signatures
Part 2: Scales, time signatures, note values
Part 3: Rest values, dotted values, dynamics, tempos
