Mid-City Entrepreneurs

The Mid-City Entrepreneurs program strives to amplify the voices of San Diego’s most impacted and underserved youth by empowering them to tell their stories through the creation of art businesses that reflect their cultures, communities, and experiences. This program trains youth in Mid-City San Diego to make art on program provided tablets, turn that art into branded merchandise like t-shirts and mugs, and sell it through their online stores. MCCM's merchandise partner prints and ships the products directly to customers with no upfront costs to the students. Participants learn valuable design, marketing, and finance skills that will stay with them wherever their careers take them.
