Valentine Byrne is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer currently residing in San Diego. Studying intensive classical piano for over 20 years, she holds a B.A. in Music Theory & Composition from New York University. She has been fortunate enough to personally study under acclaimed Romanian conductor and composer, Dr. Dinu Ghezzo, as well as Dr. Tae Hong Park of NYU and Dr. Kay Etheridge of USD. 


After finishing her degree, Valentine transitioned to more contemporary music, mentoring for many years under veteran producer J. Chris Griffin at Engine Room Audio. Valentine was able to gain invaluable experience at this renowned recording studio as a session musician, ghostwriter, and audio engineer while personally working with several Grammy-nominated artists. 


Recent collaborations include Pool Cosby, whose album "Blind Gold" features rappers such as Kool A.D. of Das Racist, Mr. MFN eXquire, and Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan. Pool Cosby recently featured Valentine on their single “Lookin’ Up” which climbed to #12 on Spotify's Top 50 Viral in the United States. Valentine has graced the stages of some of the most famous venues in NYC including Le Poisson Rouge, House of Yes, Arlene's Grocery, Rockwood Music Hall and The Bowery Electric. Her tracks have been featured at several festivals including the Tribeca Film Festival and she is set to self release her own EP at the end of 2020.
