This introductory guitar class is aimed at familiarizing beginner students with basic guitar playing techniques, music theory and playing socially. No musical experience is required to take this class. Students will learn the basic open chords as well as key musical concepts that every beginning musician needs. Guitar Level 1 is an in-person course that will feature online resources to help get beginners jamming along with their peers. This class takes place on Tuesday evenings for 8 weeks, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
